I have been married to Shamhat and Coeur de Leon for quite some time now. They are both a lot of fun, although Shamhat seems to be very engrossed in her library studies as of late. I have known them both almost from the first instant I set foot on this island, long long before the war.
Shamhat is a woman of many qualities, and not all of them good. Vain. A world-class flirt. Incessantly jealous. Money-hungry. An insatiable shoe collector. Yet she remains for me as fem a Fen as
exists in the lands. Her smile can dazzle and her tail entice and her eyes entrance.
She has a good heart, and great wisdom. And she is never boring.
Coeur de Leon is a happy-go-lucky, foolish dwarf just trying to make his way in a harsh world. With his propensity to rush in over his head and fall in the most unlikely way, only Coeur could have devised the Falling Contest, for the most inventive and humorous fall caught on a visionstone, and founded the Designated Fallen Union ("Friends Don't Let Friends Fall; Use A Designated Fallen!"). What a riot!

Coeur was married to Shamhat before the
war. I was just a friend, but even then I tried to
be as close to Shamhat as I could. I was secretly waiting for her to realize
that Coeur could not support her and that I could do better.
Little did I realize that they had a somewhat different plan in mind!
One day, we all three fell together
in the Southern Brambles and our friend Maz came to our rescue. While we were
being dragged through the South Forest, they proposed that I join them as the
third member of their family.
I was overwhelmed.
We find a lot of joy in each other's company, but we also manage to have a fair bit of fun at each other's expense.
