Current Training: Alternating between Histia and Darkus

Donations: Meyson Carpent, Fat Alice's hut builder on the Kizmia Island West beach.

Exploration: Not able to use bear cave paths or McBolie's cave entrance path. Sigh.

I decided 10 trainings with Rodnus was enough for the time being, and I felt close enough to a new achievement level with Evus that I didn't want to put him off longer. And I was right. I did a couple trainings with Evus and now he bows deeply and says that my devotion is exemplary! That feels great. But I have felt that I wasn't hitting hard enough and wanted to be capable of taking a bit more damage, so I will train some with Darkus and Histia this zodiac.

The quadrennial Feast of T'sirrn has come again, bringing with it Korstun's costume shop. I had some fun dressing up in various guises over the past few days. My favorites were the 'Chum' outfit and the cobra suit. I took the opportunity to commiserate with Chum himself on relationships, since he seems to be quite experienced in these matters.

I didn't spend too much time this year joining in the festivities or worrying over the danger of exiles becoming undine when the planets aligned. My heart really wasn't in it.

The one bright spot was when my dear Shamhat emerged from her studies in the library for a short time. Alas, I didn't even have a chance to make a sketch before she felt compelled to return there. I have to wonder how culpable I am in making her feel that she must study so hard, to escape the harshness of these Lands. Easier to blame the dwarf ...

I do owe a big thank you to Perkusi, who managed to find and coordinate the capture of my undead body after I fell and became possessed in the far-off Burrows Beach (greedily chasing down Large Sand Wurms for the outrageous bounty that Rising Claw clan offered). I was pleased, in an odd way, to hear that I was a tough kill.
