Gradi, day 56 of Spring, 554.
I have not
spent much time hunched over these scrolls recording events recently. I have
been quite busy with other things instead. I will summarize several recent happenings
since the last Chaos Storm.
In my wanderings, I noted that the Lake in the Northeast Forest has a delightfully clear look about it now. Spring rains seem to have done a world of good to the water quality there, and new batches of reeds are growing happily all around the crystal blue waters.
I took a peek at the lake at the Lily Pond to see if anything was going on there also, but those waters have not benefitted in the same way.
I have joined several groups hunting in the Sasquatch Valley lately, and this group in particular had the good fortune to find and vanquish two Angry Mother Sasquatches, as well as the usual assortment of Valley Pathers and Young Sasquatches.
Recently,
I joined several exiles to hunt at the East Cove at Kizmia's Island, and we
were pleased to find a Culcan lurking there.
Calamari anyone?
After vanquishing that, we moved on to hunt several Orgaberry Lyfelidae in the cave there.
I have
also spent some time on Gungla Island lately, exploring about and collecting
various things.
With these exiles, I helped vanquish two Baby Plesio'dons.
I was very surprised to find that Tyndall had been training in the use of the Bloodblade, and he put it to good use. Of course, with his quite good base training, specialty blade training is sure to make him impressive indeed.
I was lucky enough to run into a bevy of Seta Lizards recently, but have still not managed to wrest an unbroken scale from one.
I have not seen a single Wild Boar in ages though. Strange.
In some hunting
earlier today, I joined Nesse and Larno at Melabrion's Island.
All we found at first were Valley Cougars, and I was very disappointed to slaughter one of these.
After awhile, we ran into several Young Sasquatch, and I dispatched one of those!
Ugh.
It's painful to see some of the few seemingly solid kills left for me slowly slip from my grasp.
