Soldi, day 15 of Summer, 558.

After some re-thinking about PAGs chances of reaching Trillbane's Commentaries on Ways again anytime soon, I started spending my built up experience once again.

I trained with Evus a number of times, until Atkus decided the we were nearly equals, at long last.

Then I began practicing with my Fell Blade.

I'm progressing well in that skill already, and will train quite a bit more to ge a feel for just how powerful this weapon is.

It feels nice to notice my experience gain once again, and being unable to vanquish über beasts like Orga Hatreds was becoming a bit disturbing as my accumulated experience took its toll.

I have not been doing much in the way of organized hunting lately.

Most of my time lately has been spent wandering in search of coins.

I did venture to the Ethereal Plane with the Puddleby Task Force.

The goal was to gather Ethercles for later use.

I found one Ethercle, and it may well have been the only one we got.

The hunt got cut short when we entered a snell with a nasty Serac Wyrm that were unable to finish off. No one could hit the thing.

Even boosted, we would barely scratch it.

After numerous rounds of fighting alternating with running, we whittled down its health and eventually vanquished it.

But the effort took the wind out of our sails, and we headed home earlier than we had planned.

Hopefully, the Fell Blade lessons I am working on will help in these situations.

Mujin-kun laughingly told me several days ago that she had qualified for a Training Ledger from Bodrus. As if she needs another teacher gig! I thought I'd try my luck with him too, and was amused to find him offering me a Ledger too. If anyone needs Bodrus (doubtful), I'm your man.

I also spent some time helping Super Chicken look for a way to scale Sfoft's Peak to speak to Sfoft about parachutes.

We searched all over the Valley and Southern Beaches for paths or other hidden ways up that slope, but to no avail.

I have since heard that he finally was able to reach the peak by jumping from the Cloud, but that there may be no way up from the bottom.
