Storm 389.

Current Training: Fell Blade

Donations: Cassia Allin (30-40%).

Exploration: Deep in the Tok'Han lair.

Sombdi, day 14 of Summer, 558.

I have been in the the Tok'Han lair within Melabrion's mines many times, but never all the way down past the lava to the final egg room.

PTF decided to try a trip there to see if there might perhaps be a difficult path deep down in these tunnels leading to a new section.

We fought our way down through the caverns slowly, looking at each wall carefully.

I was actually able to strike several of the Lime and Emerald Tok'Hans as my Fell blade training starts to accumulate, although I missed these far more often than I hit. SnowLion did most of the hard work of killing these beasts as they attacked J'jh.

At last we cleared the lava snell and crossed the lava to the entry to the egg room. I was able to slip inside and grab a Gold ore, but the egg room was too full of Lime Tok'Hans to take the room.

As the fighters were trying to establish a foothold inside, two Lime Tok'Hans appeared behind us in the lava room. The healers held on for quite awhile, but with with so little room to work, the fighters all fell quicklyas they came out again, and there was no safe place to raise any of us.

Still, it was exciting to finally see the end of the known caverns, if not fully accomplish the scanning for paths I had hoped to do. And of course not winning the ore.

As I was out hunting one day, the call went out that a Sun Wyrm was lurking in the Rocky Cavern.

Since I know I can hold one of these trapped against a wall adequately enough, I hurried out to help.

Quite a crowd assembled to take on what turned out to be two Sun Wyrms.

Once I got one trapped in a corner, everyone took turns whiffing away until all had tagged.

Then I slowly worked at finishing them off. My Fell blade training is still not enough to do this easily, especially when I was stuck attacking the front and sides of the beasts.

Poor Dandelion had a bit of a workout though, as the only healer along!

As always, I make my rounds collecting valuable furs.

Occassionally one hits the jackpot.

When I stepped into the Cougar Den and was immediately surrounded by Island Panthers, a big smile lit up my face.
