I finally collected enough of various metals to have a set of armor made.

I had hoped to have heard from some of the earlier folks whether Iron or Bronze was better, but if anyone knows from direct comparison tests, they aren't saying so within my earshot.

I decided to go for Iron, and enlisted Wod to forge the set for me.

I'm pleased to report that he did a fine job and successfully made me a full set or armor: shield, helm and breastplate.

I've been using the armor sparingly, only donning it in areas where that extra protection will help me survive a bit longer.

It does seem to help with that in the Tok'Han lair and the Pitch caverns, but I have not had time for real tests in the Arena yet. It certainly does not turn me into some invincible superman!

One odd thing I noticed after the latest Chaos Storm was that Kudzu seems to be strangely altered.

Kudzu normally grows in "squares", where 4 daughter plants surround a central parent plant.

Suddenly, Kudzu seems to prefer to grow in hexagons around the parent plant, or in triangles.

Unfortunately, from what I can see growing many plants so far, the yield of viable seedlings from either hexagons or triangles is reduced compared to the old squares.

This is not good news for serious Zu growers and users like me ... I usually keep 10 full Zu bags on me (that's 100 seedlings). Keeping that many bags full is a big job already, and one that now seems even bigger!
